SERVICE TIP #1
Stop Floating Spas
When the water in a fiberglass
inground spa has to be changed and you suspect ground water,
try this. Float a large sheet of plastic or tarp over the
top of the spa after setting the sump pump. Start adding water
on top of the sheet at the same rate as old water is being
removed by the pump. When the spa is full of fresh water,
remove sheet. By using this method the spa will never be empty,
therefore, there is no chance the spa will pop out of the
ground. This method can also be used on pools.
