SERVICE TIP #2
Cleaning Clogged Spa Jets
In cases where large pieces
of debris have clogged spa jets(rust, o-rings, broken bypass
valves, etc..) and cannot be removed by reaming out jets,
try this method. Cut out circulation pump and attach suction
side of pump to line returning to spa jets. By doing this
you reverse the flow of water and suck through the jets. It
is not necessary to glue pump to return line. Just use silicone
for a temporary seal. When this is done, turn on pump and
debris will be sucked into leaf trap. After all debris has
been removed from jets reattach pump. This has worked for
me many times, so give it a try!
